Do you want to give back by helping others in our amazing community?
Each year CMA offers a Global Mentorship Program connecting mentors and mentees within the children’s media industry. The program is committed to facilitating connections, growth, experience and learning. The Director of Mentorship will oversee and manage the yearly six-month long program and create and develop future iterations of the program to be offered on a monthly one-off basis.
We are looking for a dynamic and outgoing individual who will want to utilize their sales and people skills to make connections for CMA and find mutually beneficial partnerships!
Reporting to and in partnership with the President, the Director of Sponsorship will spearhead development and partnering efforts as the Children’s Media Association continues to grow. Primary focus involves identifying, developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with prestigious partners, as well as developing, proposing, and securing financial support for CMA from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
Reporting to and in partnership with the President, the Digital Content Director will spearhead all content-related productions in collaboration with the Events and Marketing Directors. The Digital Content Director will lead a team to manage and expand upon the digital content offerings for CMA Global, its chapters and prospective digital members, including but not limited to the CMA web page, YouTube, StreamYard and social channels.

As a CMA Graphic Designer you will work with the Marketing team to design content for the CMA website, events, and social media channels within brand guidelines and templates.
Do you love to make people feel good by giving them that little extra something? If so, we need you on the Membership team!
The Membership Perks Coordinator will work in partnership with the Global Director of Membership and be responsible for helping CMA improve and better serve its members by procuring new perks exclusively for our member base. You’ll work with the Membership and Marketing teams to communicate new offerings to members.
Are you passionate about editing? Do you want to become more involved in Kids Media? Come join the CMA editing team!
Overview: As a CMA video editor you will edit high-quality short and long form videos of CMA’s virtual events. You will be responsible for professionally editing each piece while adding creative assets such as music, title cards, lower thirds and captions.
Experience: Knowledge and experience using Premier is required.
The Job Board is an exclusive CMA member benefit that provides access to a curated list of relevant job postings. The Job Board Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
Identify job opportunities and open positions that cater to the Children’s Media community in Los Angeles
Draft and upload job postings for CMA LA Job Board on a weekly basis
Work with our social media platforms on promoting job board page bi-weekly
Manage job board email and answer questions to members about the job board
Monthly meeting with membership team

We’re looking for an awesome person to plan, organize, and facilitate Children’s Media Association events for the LA Chapter. The Co-Director of Events works closely with CMA Officers to develop member-centered events within scope, schedule and budget. These may include in-person and virtual networking opportunities, panels, seminars, experiences, conferences, and services in accordance with the mission of the organization.

The Event Coordinator will work with the VP of Programming and Director of Events, to help plan, organize, and facilitate Children’s Media Association events including networking opportunities, panels, seminars, experiences, conferences, and services in accordance with the mission of the organization. Some events are in-person and many are virtual so ease with technology is key!
Do you have a passion for social media and how it brings people together? CMA needs you in our LA chapter!
We’re seeking a Social Media Coordinator to work with the marketing team to brainstorm, plan and post content across all our social media channels. Assist with planning and posting content to social channels, brainstorm and create social media posts using Canva, and engage with other social media channels and pages relating to children’s media.
Are you an entrepreneurial leader and strategic systems thinker? Does the idea of building a team, creatively tackle questions and challenges, and thinking of ways to reach new audiences all get you excited? Are you based in the Bay Area with networks connecting you to the tech sector and the work it is doing for kids and families?
The chapter President supervises the general affairs of CMA Bay Area and works closely with the National President and the CMA-BA Chapter Board of Officers to set and meet organizational goals. Serving as the face of the CMA BA chapter, the President maintains and leads the development of new chapter programming, local event sponsorships, and the development of the chapter leadership.
Do you have strong organizational skills and want to oversee the organizational and strategic endeavors of CMA Bay Area behind-the-scenes?
The Vice President will assist the President as needed in all organizational matters, focusing mainly on operations and will closely support the President in achieving organization-wide goals. The Vice President will run officers’ meetings when the President is absent, and is responsible for reporting back to the President on any urgent matters. The Vice President will attend CMA Programs whenever possible to help support our volunteers, as well as speak to members and potential members about membership.
Do you want to help inspire, inform and connect those working across kid and family media by growing and supporting CMA membership?
The Director of Membership will manage the membership experience through all of our touch-points and make recommendations/suggestions to improve the member experience as identified /needed. They will maintain all member communication and develop and manage the process for member feedback.

The NY Director of Marketing leads CMA NY’s promotion and marketing strategies, editorial calendar, and manages the team that creates content for marketing activities in order to grow CMA NY and maintain its brand identity.
