Video Editor
We are looking for a talented editor who can edit simple videos for us to share with people interested in learning more about CMA.

Over the years, CMA has hosted several amazing and intriguing events from coast-to-coast, but currently, most of these videos live in our private "members only" video library. We would now like to share the wealth of information and encouragement, by sharing clips of event highlights on our Public YouTube page.

We are looking for an editor who can support us in creating and exporting 1-2-minute clips and upload videos on our YouTube channel regularly. As this is a volunteer role, we would work with your schedule but ideally would love to post about 2 clips per month. Thank you.

Bay Area Digital Coordinator
We are looking for a Digital Coordinator to support our marketing and comms efforts. This is a terrific role for someone who is able to give 5-7 hours a month, working remotely, to create and send out invites, event registrations, and other communications and to ensure our calendar/ web presence is up-to-date. Familiarity with the backend of web design -- or interest in learning it! -- is needed for this role. Graphic design is a plus but not critical.

The volunteer will report to our Director of Marketing, Rana DiOrio. Robust training will be provided in our event/ communication system by our Director of Membership, Ben Miller.  This is a terrific opportunity for someone looking to add new skills and a wonderful network to their professional journey.

Bay Area Events Coordinator
Opening for 1-2 Event Coordinators for the Bay Area Chapter of CMA.  Responsibilities include:

  • Support the Events Director with 6-8 events each year at which members of the children's media industry can come learn about new programs and research involving education and digital technology, and can exchange ideas, socialize, and network.
  • Project manage event operations and execution.
  • Serve as liaison with others in the CMA team in support of events.
  • Brainstorm and develop topics, potential speakers, or other options for engaging remote programming.

Given our remote work reality, you do not have to be located in the Bay Area!

Digital Events Coordinator/Trainer
CMA L.A. is searching for a talented and amazing CMA volunteer to serve as our Digital Events Coordinator. Ideally, we would love someone who is already familiar and comfortable with MemberClicks:

  • Posting events on the website.
  • Setting up plus tracking registration.
  • Sending email blasts via MemberClicks.

We are searching for someone who can help on a consistent basis, aiming to support 1 event per month. If we are absolutely unable to find someone to consistently support our team, we would then appreciate someone experienced in MemberClicks, who can train one of our volunteers and support him or her until they are comfortable with the platform. Thank you in advance.
