Zoe Steckler

Since her first job as a summer camp counselor, Zoe has been striving toward her goal of empowering and educating kids. At Tufts University, she majored in Child Study & Human Development, and discovered the children’s media industry, which she soon realized was the perfect blend of her interests.
Zoe joined the Research & Curriculum team at 9 Story Media Group in New York, where she worked directly with hundreds of children and helped develop curricula for a number of beloved preschool TV shows. After several years at 9 Story, during which time she worked on shows including Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (PBS Kids) and Blue’s Clues & You (Nick Jr.), Zoe went back to school to pursue her master’s degree in Cognitive Science in Education at the Teachers College at Columbia University. Zoe is eager to deepen her knowledge of how children develop, think, and learn, and to use this foundation to create the best possible content for kids.
As a member of CMA since her senior year of college, Zoe is so excited to join the team as the Co-Director of Membership, and enhance the CMA membership experience for all. In her free time, Zoe loves reading, cooking, and biking around Brooklyn.
