Rebecca Russell

Rebecca is an actor, singer, storyteller, and mental health advocate. She believes the arts should be accessible to all ages and audiences! As a creative with a versatile background in marketing, children’s media, and theatre her experience includes a wide variety.

Her favorite live theatre for young audiences includes both of her Off-Broadway credits: The first being Rescue Rue, a musical fairytale written by CMA LA’s very own Stacey Weingarten. And the second being Sesame Street the Musical, a stage adaptation of the television show. She has also enjoyed performing in many other TYA shows including Shrek, The Little Mermaid, Madagascar Live, and The Legend of Longbeard.

Her experience with specifically children’s media grew exponentially during the pandemic as the need continued to grow. She thoroughly enjoyed her time as a children’s worship leader during the pandemic to help create virtual children’s worship. Another favorite media moment includes teaching virtual dance and acting classes for elementary students during this time.

Opening her first online store at the age of 16, her knowledge and interest in marketing sparked at an early age. Rebecca is thrilled to bring her passion for Children’s Media to CMA LA through her expertise in marketing and communication.
