Rebecca Pollock

Rebecca Pollock is a strategic partnership leader and creative connector who thrives on bringing ideas, people, and purpose together. The magical moments of her childhood—Saturday morning cartoons, books that whisked her away to new worlds, and living room plays with her siblings—sparked a lifelong love of storytelling, curiosity, and the limitless imagination of kids.

Her career weaves together entertainment, technology, and social impact. She spent more than a decade at SAP in global strategic marketing roles, including managing high-profile sports and entertainment partnerships with Madison Square Garden and McLaren Formula One, before bringing her passion for purpose-driven media to A Show For A Change, a social-impact entertainment startup, where she helped curate films and launch a streaming platform for stories that inspire action.

She also brings a creative and editorial lens to her work as a film screener for AFI FEST, where she critiques films for consideration at the annual festival in Los Angeles, and through her experience as a substitute teacher has gained firsthand insight into how kids engage, learn, and communicate today.
At the Children’s Media Association, Rebecca serves as Director of Sponsorships, building thoughtful, mission-aligned partnerships that support CMA’s vibrant community and long-term growth. Guided by the Bambara proverb “Dooni dooni kononi be nyaga da” (“Little by little, the bird builds its nest”), learned during her time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali, West Africa, she approaches her work with care, patience, and a commitment to steady, relationship-driven impact. Rebecca splits her time between New York City and the rolling hills of Litchfield County, Connecticut, where her love of storytelling and imagination first took root.
