Kim Díaz is Vice President of Creative Development at Sesame Workshop, where she leads creative strategy for new long-form and short-form series, specials, and programming initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission. Since joining Sesame Workshop in 2016, she has overseen the creative development pipeline for original series, Sesame Street spinoffs, segments, and animated specials for partners including Netflix, PBS, and YouTube. Her work includes Elmo Gets a Puppy, Elmo & Tango’s Mysterious Mysteries, Charlotte’s Web, and the Daytime Emmy–nominated short The Monster at the End of Your Story. Previously, Kim was a writer, producer, and puppeteer on Sprout’s Emmy-nominated The Sunny Side Up Show and a writer and producer at Nick Jr. A New York native, she is a parent of two, a certified yoga instructor, and believes in finding joy through creativity and mindfulness to all aspects of her work.
