Danielle Tulchinsky is an art director and game designer who turns curiosity into play, structure into delight, and serious ideas into experiences people want to spend time with. Her work moves fluidly between digital games, learning tools, and physical experiences while staying grounded in curiosity, connection, and community.
She has created digital games for organizations including Roblox and Sesame Street, designed teacher professional development games and learning materials at The Agile Teacher Lab, and built phygital exhibits for the Digital Futures Institute. Along the way, she has founded and worked at a handful of game startups and taught in art studios and makerspaces, designing learning environments where experimentation leads and making is the point.
With undergraduate degrees in Math and Economics from The Ohio State University and a master’s in Communications, Media, and Learning Technology Design from Teachers College, Columbia University, Danielle brings analytical rigor to her creative practice and believes whimsy is a serious design strategy. She is happiest designing things that invite people to tinker, explore, and stay awhile.
