Angela Jorge

Angela Jorge is a 2018 graduate of Barnard College with a B.A. in Film Studies and American Studies. At CMA, she was part of the 2020/2021 class of the mentorship program as a mentee and loved her time there and all that she learned from her mentor and fellow mentee.

Angela worked at GBH Kids in Boston for over 7 years in both the Digital and TV space. She started as a PA in Digital in 2018 and helped create over 15 STEM and Computational Thinking games for preschoolers in English and Spanish with NSF funding, some of which became early iterations of games for the series Work It Out Wombats!. In 2021, she moved to the TV side of the department as pre-production for Work It Out Wombats! was beginning. Angela has been able to see the show’s evolution and, in this most recent season, wrote an episode herself. In 2024, she was selected as a Rising Star in Public Media from Current. She hopes to continue TV production and explore writing opportunities for different series.

In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time re-watching Frasier with her husband and doggo. She can also be found taking too long to cook something in the kitchen (but at least it always comes out delicious!) and saying that she’ll get back to her sewing soon. But, she’s proud that she’s gotten back into reading and is zipping through the Bridgerton series and open to more rom-com book recommendations!
