It's More Than A Great Idea: Strategies for Helping Break Kids Content on YouTube

It's More Than A Great Idea: Strategies for Helping Break Kids Content on YouTube

Thu Jun 27, 2024 1:00 PM

Online, CMA Screening Room,

As creators, we all have ideas with the intent on them being the next big thing in kid’s media but “it’s more than just a great idea.” There’s also strategies, research and of course perfect timing. With proper knowledge and insight, we’re better equipped to control three of the four, to turn our ideas into successful kid’s content.

In this virtual event, we’ll chat with creators Javoris Hollingsworth, PhD and Arlene Gordon-Hollingsworth, PhD, founders of uber-popular music YouTube channel, “Gracie’s Corner,” and parents of Graceyn, the inspiration behind the idea. “Gracie’s Corner” provides a combination of educational, fun, and encouraging songs for children from diverse backgrounds. We’ll hear about their initial idea, and the strategies used to grow Gracie’s Corner to 3 million+ subscribers on the platform and more!

Also joining the discussion is Emmy-nominated kids media executive Marc Cantone. Marc will share his 15+ years expertise in digital media as the VP of Preschool Digital Content at Nickelodeon. While discussing YouTube strategies from the network side, Marc will also discuss the importance of creativity, the actual creative as well as production.
