Join CMA New York for a panel discussion on creating and promoting safe content for children in the era of streaming video.

We all want to provide kids with safe and engaging content that will help them grow, but how do you get your content to kids when there are so many platforms and options? As a creator, how do you navigate this landscape and what are the business considerations? Guests will also have a chance to ask panelists their own questions.

Moderated by Tyler Williams of Two Moos, our panel will include Brenda Bisner, co-creator of Kidoodle.TV® and an integral force behind the successful acquisition of top children’s media content from around the world, as well as Harry & Sona Jho, co-creators of Mother Goose Club and former educators whose content is anchored by curriculum designed to develop reading readiness in young children.

About Our Speakers 

Brenda Bisner is the SVP of Content & Business Development for A Parent Media Co Inc. the creators of the SAFE STREAMINGTM Platform: Kidoodle.TV®. She is an integral force behind the successful acquisition of top children’s media content from around the world, as well as a future caster for all new business development on behalf of the company. Brenda has a proven expertise in the navigation of an ever-shifting children’s digital media landscape. She has the rare talent to spot trends and recognize brand potential along with an innate ability to optimize for their success. Brenda’s work with Kidoodle.TV will set a standard for a more safe and reliable online space to relieve parents, and help protect and entertain kids from over 140 countries as they learn and grow into the best versions of themselves. Over her 19+ year career in the children’s media space, Brenda has developed, produced and sold live action, animation and reality series across multiple channel worldwide and executed on numerous Licensing & Merchandising deals. Working with companies such as Scholastic, Cookie Jar Entertainment, Tom Lynch Company, and more, Brenda has helped these major brands develop precise and thoughtful plans for today, while anticipating the future of the business for tomorrow. Discovering novel ways to bring great content to children in a SAFE way all around the globe is her goal, and she pursues it with passion.

Harry Jho is the CEO of Sockeye Media LLC, which he founded with his wife, Sona, in 2002. Sockeye
produces one of YouTube’s most successful children’s brand, Mother Goose Club. Harry is a three-time
Emmy award-winner and has spoken at digital media conferences across the globe, often as a guest of
YouTube.


In addition to his career in children’s media, Harry Jho is the founder of Harry Jho LLC, a law firm
specializing in securities finance, derivatives and prime brokerage. The firm is a trusted advisor for
banks, hedge funds and industry groups seeking to manage counterparty risk and negotiate trading
agreements. Harry was formerly associated with Davis Polk & Wardwell and was a Principal and
Assistant General Counsel at Bank of America. He holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and graduated Phi
Beta Kappa, with Highest Distinction, from the University of Michigan.

Sona Jho is the CCO of Sockeye Media LLC, which she founded with her husband, Harry, in 2002.
Sockeye produces Mother Goose Club, a literacy series for preschoolers, which has amassed billions of
views and millions of subscribers across its family of channels. Sona has won five Emmys and six Tellys
for her work on Mother Goose Club and other educational programming for PBS. Mother Goose Club’s
programs, songs, and apps are distributed worldwide on virtually every digital platform, including
YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, and Pandora. Sona previously worked as the
Educational Producer at Nashville Public Television. She received her undergraduate degree from Bryn
Mawr College before going on to Harvard University Graduate School of Education, where she received
her Master’s in educational and instructional technology.

Tyler Williams is a creative technologist at Two Moos, a team of kids digital and media specialists. Tyler focuses on new and emergent technologies and how they can be used to create products that provide positive impact for kids and families around the world. Whether it’s an AR coding game, national “smart cities” platform or a super cool prototype, Tyler works closely with teams and clients to drive solutions that meet complex technical challenges.
