Anna Ziemski, Director of Events, CMA New York

Anna Ziemski

Anna's interest in children's media was sparked while watching a 60 Minutes segment on the making of Sesame Street. Shortly after, she joined the Children's Media Association as a member, and has served as an Event Coordinator for almost 2 years. Anna has over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages in camp, school, museum, and play-space settings. She is a firm believer that educational opportunity outside the classroom is crucial for children and their families. Her background in Child Psychology and Education will remain a strong tool as she pursues opportunities in children's television production.

She received her B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University and is working toward her M.A. in Communication and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Growing up, Anna's favorite children's television programs were Zoboomafoo, Cyberchase, and Zoom. She was featured in a Sesame Street title sequence in 1997. Her parents have proudly preserved the VHS.
