Amy Strauss

Amy discovered her love for children's media in college, and immersed herself in it by studying Child Development and Communications and Media as well as through internship experiences in and around Boston at WGBH, Walden Media, and Barefoot Books. She spent a year as an AmeriCorps Volunteer with City Year Boston mentoring and tutoring third graders at the Trotter School in Dorchester before making the move to New York. Once in New York, she spent three years as a researcher at Insight Strategy Group focusing on kids media and entertainment, working with clients like Universal Kids, PBS KIDS, Hasbro, and Crayola. She's excited to now be working in production on Gabby's Dollhouse, a new show for preschoolers coming from DreamWorks Animation TV. You can find Amy around Brooklyn checking out a brewery, picking up ingredients for a home brew or a new vegan recipe, and listening to podcasts on the C train.
